Call for Faculty Project Proposals: Summer 2026 Internship Program
The Johns Hopkins Data Science and AI Institute (DSAI) invites all Johns Hopkins faculty and clinicians to submit project proposals for participation in the DSAI Summer 2026 Internship Program. This 10-week internship program connects highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students with technical skills in data science and AI to faculty-led research projects that need data science and AI to address complex, real-world challenges. The goal is to accelerate research that would benefit from AI, advance data-driven innovation, and provide meaningful mentorship to the next generation of data science and AI leaders at Johns Hopkins.
Why Submit a Project?
The program is designed to support faculty projects that would benefit from technical expertise in data science and AI and will provide:
- An intern with data science and AI skills
- Technical mentorship for each intern from DSAI research software engineers to help scope and structure their work
- Access to DSAI infrastructure support
- Opportunities to advance impactful work and build new collaborations
Faculty from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
