The Data Science and AI Institute has selected two projects for its Data Science and AI Institute Demonstration Projects awards.

The Data Science and AI Institute Demonstration Projects Program aims to accelerate the development and deployment of data science and AI tools in critical applications. This program emphasizes translational efforts and turning scientific discoveries into practical solutions that improve the human condition.  

These awards will provide support for long-term, high-impact projects that foster collaboration among researchers, engineers, clinicians, and potentially external partners.

“We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2025 Demonstration Projects awards,” says Natalia Trayanova, Murray B. Sachs Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and director of health and medicine in the Data Science and AI Institute. “This program exemplifies our strong commitment to accelerating the integration of data science and AI tools into essential applications across the Johns Hopkins community. By fostering transformative collaborations, the chosen projects will catalyze significant advancements.”
